I am a fairly well-known local watercolorist who began my artistic career in London, England, where, as a youth, I studied oil painting at St. Martin’s School of Art and Design. In 1987, having moved to Santa Cruz to pursue a successful real estate career, I resumed painting, shifting from oils to watercolors. I currently live and paint at my home in Soquel, California. My work has been featured on the cover of a national magazine, published in a calendar “Celebration of American Women Artists, licensed onto notecards, umbrellas and tote bags, and exhibited throughout the States in major national watercolor shows. Locally, I have painted posters for various events such as the Wharf to Wharf Race, the Capitola Art and Wine Festival, and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. have published a book of local vignettes, “Sand Between Your Toes”,

My colorful images are evidence of a love for the vibrancy and richness of watercolor, my most frequent medium. My subject matter ranges from large florals to scenes of my travels in both the United States and Europe.
