Chris Herring
Redwood Tees is an artisan screen printer located in Felton, CA. The print shop is operated by Chris Herring and Trina White (husband and wife). We do all of our printing on a manual press using water-based inks. Chris has been involved in art & design all of his life: He studied ceramics at Pasadena City College and then industrial design at San Jose State. He has been designing and printing on fabric for the past 4 years.
All our designs are original works of art created by myself or a member of my family (my brother, my mother, and my grandfather have contributed original works of art). Our art is inspired by nature, especially the ocean and all the creatures that inhabit it. We also have fascination for bicycles and music: Chris is currently working on a series of designs exploring the form of the bicycle.
