Andre Jourdan

Andre Jourdan and his family have been in the Linens Industry for many years in France. In 1999 Andre brought to the US his knowledge and experience in the tablecloth business opening his own workshop. He’s responsible for all the manufacture work (cutting, sawing, finishing and quality control).
Priscila Jourdan has a bachelor degree in Computer Science, specialized in Graphic Designs. She is responsible for all the graphic designs and art development for the different prints and also helps manufacturing the tablecloths and accessories.

Our medium: Textile - There is no mass production involved in our work.
We design and make every single piece of Linen from scratch.
Every year we spend 2 months in France (at Andre's family company) designing new prints for tablecloths and accessories.
Using Photoshop and Illustrator we create the graphic work - digital prints (like: olives, fruits, flowers - all based in the South of France Tradition) then we transfer those prints to rolls of fabrics that will be used in the creation of all different products.
Here in Temecula we have a workshop where we finish our products.
For the regular cotton table sets we can customize sizes or add a hole to fit outside umbrella tables.
For the stain proof table sets we apply an acrylic layer to the cotton fabric and make them stain proof.
For the Jacquard Woven Collection we program different patterns that will be double weaved in the fabric making them reversible. We also apply a layer of Teflon to make them stain resistant.
We also make napkins and dishtowels to match the tablecloths.
Designed with great style our unique Jacquard Tapestry tablecloths are created one by one with various matching borders and designs giving them elegance and sophistication.
We also make dishtowels out of cotton and linen fabrics and round hand towels with 450gr cotton.
Last year we started extending our collection creating pillow cases made with the Jacquard fabric and also with original Gobelin tapestries.
It's a very long process from creating a new print, a new design to putting all this together in a final high quality unique table set and accessories.
The computer, printing, cutting and sewing and weaving machines are only tools to help us create and finish our work. The creation of new prints, new designs and the process of cutting and sewing to put together all these pieces are our personal and handmade work.
