I began doing henna art fifteen years ago after already having a background in fine arts. I am originally from Italy but I have traveled with my work to more than ten countries, including Egypt, Greece, Malaysia and Mexico. Henna art is fabulous art medium that allows me to meet many people from a myriad of backgrounds.each year, I open up my booth to art fairs with the intention to create a spa like environment that is relaxing and exotic for my clients.

My work is unique in the sense that every design is created in the moment for each person. Therefore no two designs are the same. I make my own paste from organic henna powder and high end essential oils. My inspiration for the work is primarily from art nouveau, Indian henna mehendi and North African floral work. The henna paste is a beautiful rich red color that will last on the skin up to two weeks with careful aftercare. All the henna paste is non-toxic. I am also introducing Jagua ink, which is also a non-toxic medium from the Amazonian rain forest that results in a dark blue color after two days of the application.
