My name is Jack Palmer and I am a third generation Scotts Valley resident. I have been making wire wrapped jewelry since June 2016 and it is my greatest passion. My goal is to create unique, wearable art in the form of precious metals and quality gemstones. I have never sold my jewelry in a booth, so I would be honored if the Scotts Valley Art, Wine, and Beer Festival was my first event.

My art was born out of curiosity. After seeing wire-wraps on Pacific Avenue, I decided to try it for myself. I stripped old copper speaker wire from my garage and wrapped an agate from my childhood rock collection.
I fell in love with the process and endless possibilities, always pushing myself to improve. Now, almost one year later, I use sterling silver and 14-karat gold-fill wires to set various gemstones. Most pendants I make now have a soldered silver frame for added durability and ease of making the design I envision. I also have more recently started to carve gemstones to include in my creations for another level of customization.
