Always a jam maker, returning to the Central Coast with its abundant & accessible fruit, especially citrus, upped my interest & creativity. With the advent of the Cottage Food Act, and a few pushes from others, a business seemed doable. With the support of Santa Cruz County Environmental Health Department and Mountain Feed & Supply, I plunged ahead. I am now in my fourth year and growing each year! Two years ago, I added scone mixes -easy and so good with jam! And this year, some Vegan Caramel Popcorn! Delicious
I make small batch jams, jellies, marmalades, butters and scone mixes in my certified Scotts Valley kitchen. I particularly like creating interest combinations of flavors, such as Pear Lavender, Apple-Apricot Butter and Cherries with Almond. And we recently added a delicious Vegan Caramel Corn, using non-GMO popcorn.
