Rose Georgi is an accomplished concert pianist, teacher and artist who brings an intrinsic sense of rhythm, composition, harmony and color to her paintings. Her passion for art and music started in early age. She was a top graduate from a Russian Conservatory of Music and taught at a State Cultural College. She has painted and has performed classical and jazz piano in Russia, Germany, and the USA. Rose now makes Scotts Valley her home where she continues to express her affinity for the ocean, mountains and valleys, combined with the sublime complexity of classical themes through her art and music. She continues to paint, teach music and art, perform with classical music ensembles, attend artist workshops, and is an active member of several local artist and plein air groups.
Rose’s art conveys emotion and expression on a variety of subjects including dynamic ocean vistas, the vibrant spirit of ballet, the delicate details of flowers, the precise design of a classical building, and even traditional themes of the European masters. Each of Rose’s paintings represents an intimate facet of her life’s experiences – complex yet delicate and sublime, emotional and dynamic yet expressing an underlying confidence and joie de vivre. Her compelling paintings have won top awards at the Santa Cruz County Fair exhibitions for several years.
