I,Mary Kay, originally from Long Beach CA, moved to Santa Cruz in 1978. I currently live in Mount Hermon, married, three children, two grand kids. I am a professional musician.
In 2009, I started making purses/bags using fabrcs and leather( upcycled and natural hide).I enjoy finding vintage garments and repurposing them into a useful product. My goal is to make each item unique and lovely
I make fabric and leather purses and wallets cut from own patterns, sewn by me. I use natural hides and re-purposed leather. Add pockets, zippers,fringe with beads, brass, nickel and/or copper hardware.Most are fully lined. I use high quality nylon and poly thread with a pfaff 1222e sewing machine.
